Rocky Mountain Valour is an organization that takes pride in ensuring that active and retired members of the Canadian Military are recognized for their past and continuing efforts to protect the freedoms of the Canadian people both in foreign and domestic operations.
Mission Statement
RMV (Rocky Mountain Valour) is a volunteer organization based in Calgary, Alberta. Our primary goal is to bring members of the Canadian Military, both active and retired, out to our beautiful city during the Calgary Stampede and experience true western hospitality. During their time with us we focus on their mental health and well being as well as the bond of brotherhood that was so important during their time overseas. Several of the men will get a custom made Olsen Silver belt buckle in front of a crowd of thousands and get a first hand view of the true patriotic views of our western culture.
Our secondary goal is to strive to connect our members to the business community while they are here. When most of us went to work in our 20’s, these men and women went to war and are only now just entering the business world after their military careers.
RMV is a 100% volunteer based organization and all proceeds go directly to funding events for retired and serving members.
